REFLECTION | ICT | 3RD GRADING

Charles Lazarus

Every-time I'm reading this quote, it always inspires me to pursue on my studies to reach my goal. It motivates me to make my school requirements to do it on time.
3rd grading has ended with a mixed emotion. It went so fast. At first, when 3rd grading started, i'd promised to myself that i'll be more concentrated in my studies and glad to tell that I became more disciplined in my studies. During school days, i'm not using cellphone, facebook and twitter. For that, I made my requirements on time. I continued of striving hard and when periodical exams came. It was a big shocked for us when our grandma died and sad to say, she died the week of our exams. As expected, I didn't concentrate in reviewing my lessons. Although, I didn't concentrate well, I did my best to answer all of those test and some result high scores.
I couldn't imagine that it will be the last grading I'll deal up to. But even though it will be the last, it doesn't mean that I'll not strive hard anymore. I will be strive the hardest I can. Two month more to go and we must say goodbye to high school life. Let me enjoy the remaining seconds of being a high school student.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Another year has come. Another blessings. Another challenges to be faced. Another laughter. Another tears. Another another another... But before anything else, let us thank God for another year He had given to us to see and explore the beauty of life.       Challenges I've faced the year 2012 made me more stronger and stronger. I realized that as I went up the stairs, I became more matured in thinking. Not in a way of being not childish anymore but in deciding. I became more matured in deciding if what is better. Before I decide, I also thinking first all of the consequences may happen if i'll do that or not. i'm thinking if is it be bad or good so I'll never regret at the end of what I've decided. It was a full of excitement, happiness, tears, laughter, nervousness, sadness and joy. my life became more colorful as the blessings came into my life.      This year, 2013, I promised to myself a lot. Listed on my new year's resolution. I know I can't do all of this but I'll try my best because it's for my own. One of these are being mature in acting -lessen being childish, to be more kinder to others, to be a thrifty one, to stop one of my mannerism - nail biting and so on.       Sometimes, we are used change ourselves for others. For others' feedback about our personality. I think, we don't need to change our selves for other. Real friend accepts who we are.        So now that it's already 2013, i'll make a change. I'll make a change for myself and not for others. And I also promise that I'll never forget to pray and thank God for all the blessings He'll give to me.

New year? NEW ME!

HO! HO! HO! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Christmas is not all about gifting, caroling  parties and happiness. This is the time to give thanks to our God Almighty.
Here we are again, making and decorating Christmas tree, putting Christmas lights, buying and wrapping gifts. We can also hear Christmas songs sang by carolers ang giving and sharing them some blessing as their gifts.
And yes, the most awaited part of the month of December, the Noche Buene which is our tummy will be full of yummy foods. Kids are always excited listing their wishlist for the night before 25th of December. And as the wake up in the morning, they can see a gift from a big fat man with white long mustache riding on a sleigh with reindeers known as Santa Claus.
But we must know that Christmas is not just about happiness all the way and also sharing blessing and giving thanks and importane for our savior Jesus Christ.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Godbless us all.

"Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities"

We, humans, were all created by God. "He created us equally as well as he loves us equally," they are used to say this line.
Each individual deserve to be respected and treated equally. Take it for example, sometimes there is the so called discrimination especially to those who are disabled or handicapped, they used to give more importance to those who have good personality and non disabled man. This shows that there's no equal rights for us as well as there;s no equal opportunities. Wen should have equal rights even you are man or woman, have good personality or not, clever or not, old one or you one and so on.
For this, there will be no discrimination and all of us will be equally treated by other because God created us equally.

"Handa ka na ba?"

For sure, we are all knowledgeable about the so called CLIMATE CHANGE which means a crucial challenge that we face today, and this is what I've learned last Youth Environmental Summer Camp (YES Camp) with the theme "Handa ka na ba? (Climate Change Adaptation  The next level)." With this theme, we can already see if what is meant by this. This is to urge all students, youth leaders, educators, and the local government units to take the lead.
In our country, disaster abound like flash floods, volcanic eruptions  landslides, typhoons, and also earthquakes. According to studies, the Philippines is a disaster waiting to happen which means our country is prone to calamities. And this is the aim of the YES CAMP, to encourage  the student leaders to make a change for the environment and also for our own because we, the one who are suffering from is the one who can make a solution.
We should be aware on the effects of climate change to our environment and natural resources. Climate change is one of the most effective ways to respond to this global threat. Still remember the stories and movies about the "end of the world" scenarios? What if it happens today? What can you do? Isn't it too late to make an act, to make a respond to the climate change?

HANDA KA NA BA?

We should do something in our simple ways. With these, if we put it together, it can be a big help for saving our Mother Earth. Let us shape the future today before it is too late. Let us prepare, respond and adapt. Together, we can save our world. HANDA KA NA BA?

REFLECTION | ICT | 2ND GRADING |

Time is so fast. I couldn't imagine that second grading period was over again. At first, I thought I can do better than the last grading, that I would be a better one, that I will strive harder, to change my bad habits and to be more discipline than before but I was wrong. This whole second grading, I just tried my better one and not my best. I was disappointed. That all of my promises to myself were all broken not because I didn't strive harder but because of my personal problems I have. But for this, I didn't gave up. I pushed and forced myself to concentrate more on my studies. I always think that I need to get higher grades as I can.
This grading, I found difficult to our lesson in ICT, the HTML tags where once you've a mistake in typing, it would come up with an error. Even though it's just a little mistake of typing tags, all of it will be affected. I also found difficult in memorizing the tag attributes most especially when we had a surprised quiz in tag attributes and I was dismayed with the result.
For those consecutive failures, I never give up. It was only the so called circumstances that we need to face for us to reach the finish line.
I thank those who serves as my inspiration to study hard.

So for now, let me ready myself for another quarter and I do promise that I'm gonna get my studies seriously. I do promise that I will focus, concentrate and strive harder and harder on my studies. To change my bad habits. To be more discipline to myself. I promise, I promise, I PROMISE! I CAN DO IT!

"UPHOLDING ENGLISH PROFICIENCY FOR COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE"

Say hello to October! And say hi to October Fest! This month, we are celebrating the English Month Celebration, the English Olympics with the theme "Upholding English Proficiency for Communicative Competence," which means to raise the improvement of English speaking for communicative competence.
We all know that english is the universal language all over the world. It is the language we are using to communicate wherever we go. Especially when we're going to other countries. Speaking in english can be a big help for us. First is, it can improve the way we speak, it helps the increasing of our jobs to us in other countries because english speaking is the most important to have a clear conversation and so that we can understand each other. Through this, we can be a good model to young ones to use english speaking every time we communicate to others. It can also develop our skills like in speaking and writing.
So from now on, we need to practice speaking in english for a better future.
